Hey, Mikaela here. I was born and raised in sunny San Clemente, CA, where I grew up racing dirtbikes, playing rugby, and spending every chance I got at the beach. From the moment I could hold a crayon, I’ve been creating—drawing, painting, and experimenting with every kind of media I could get my hands on. I’ve always seen myself as an artist at heart.

My love for hairdressing started when I was just a little girl, watching my mom get her hair done by the legendary “Mama Joan.” I was totally mesmerized, watching her work magic and transform my mom’s hair like it was an art form. It was a new kind of media to me, and from that moment on, I was hooked.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be trained by Toni & Guy educators and the incredible Heather Bell. My passion for learning and creating in this industry is something that’ll never fade—being a stylist is just another way for me to express my creativity and bring a bit of art into the world!
