Hey, I’m Emily Vanhuss! I grew up in Dana Point, but after spending a good chunk of time living in Long Beach and LA, I recently made my way back home. I’ve been doing hair for 24 years (crazy, right?). I got my start in Costa Mesa, then headed up to LA, where I fell in love with creative cuts, bold colors, and even got to do some movie set work—such a blast!
Growing up in SoCal, the punk/skate scene was always a big inspiration for me, and it still influences my work today. I started educating just two years into my career and haven’t stopped since—I love sharing what I’ve learned with others in the salon. I specialize in both men’s and women’s cutting and color, with training from Vidal Sassoon and Redken Academy under my belt.
